Overview

Design assessment tools that work in delivery & survive audit

One complete pathway to stronger assessment practice.

For the first time in 7 years, do not miss this special event.

The Assessment Live Bundle is a comprehensive professional development program designed for RTO personnel responsible for assessment design, review and quality assurance. Across nine (9) in-depth virtual workshops, participants work through every stage of assessment tool development, from unpacking units through to trialling, reviewing and validating tools in practice.

This bundle responds directly to the challenges RTOs face under the revised training package frameworks and the 2025 SRTO. Rather than focusing on isolated tasks, the program treats assessment as a connected system. Participants learn how different task types work together, how evidence is built across methods and how design decisions affect delivery, learner experience and audit outcomes.

Each workshop is practical, interactive and grounded in real examples. Participants leave with approaches they can apply immediately, clearer judgement pathways and stronger documentation that supports consistency, compliance and confidence across the organisation.

The bundle brings together eight focused workshops covering planning and unpacking, questioning-based tasks, product based tasks, observation tasks, use of other parties for evidence collection, simulated workplace tasks, task based RPL and digital assessment approaches, concluding with trialling, reviewing and validating assessment tools. Each session runs for four hours and is delivered live in a virtual format.

By completing the Assessment Live Bundle, participants gain a shared language and approach to assessment design. This supports more consistent assessor decisions, clearer expectations for learners, reduced rework of tools and stronger audit readiness. The bundle helps move assessment from a risk area to a controlled, well-understood part of the RTO’s quality system.
