Planning & Unpacking – Developing Assessment Tools
Course
Identify Evidence Requirements & Assessment Conditions with accuracy
Build assessment tools that work as a system not as scattered tasks.
Unpack units with precision so tools land right the first time.
This workshop guides participants through the full front end of assessment design. Before any task is written the unit must be unpacked properly, the intent understood and the Evidence Requirements mapped. Participants learn how to interpret both ASK format units and legacy formats under TPOF and how to translate requirements into clear task specifications.
The session focuses on planning the whole assessment system for a training product not just individual tools. This includes sequencing tasks, selecting methods that fit the Assessment Conditions and determining the right evidence plan for the learner cohort. The goal is to remove guesswork and set up a consistent approach that supports delivery, assessment and audit.
