RTO MANAGER SERIES 2027 | GOVERNANCE | WORKSHOP 10 OF 30

Manage the information & digital solutions the RTO depends on as one system

Manage the records, information & digital solutions the RTO relies on as one connected operating environment.

Records & technology overlap in practice. Managers need to know what evidence must exist, where authoritative information sits & whether the digital solutions holding & processing it remain fit for purpose. The management challenge is not simply to have a policy, form or procedure in place... It is to make ownership, decision rights, controls & evidence visible enough that managers can see whether the function is operating as intended & intervene when it starts to drift.

Does the RTO have reliable information & digital solutions that are controlled, retrievable & fit for purpose?

Examine where responsibilities sit, what controls should operate, what information management should be able to see & which exceptions or indicators should trigger review, escalation or corrective action.
