RTO MANAGER SERIES 2027 | GOVERNANCE | WORKSHOP 2 OF 30

Govern AI before AI starts governing the work

Move AI from ad hoc experimentation to controlled organisation-wide adoption immediately after the governance foundation.

AI is already used across management, administration, marketing, student services, training & assessment. Managers need a common approval & assurance model before use spreads further. The management challenge is not simply to have a policy, form or procedure in place... It is to make ownership, decision rights, controls & evidence visible enough that managers can see whether the function is operating as intended & intervene when it starts to drift.

Where should AI be used, under what controls & with what human accountability?

Examine where responsibilities sit, what controls should operate, what information management should be able to see & which exceptions or indicators should trigger review, escalation or corrective action.

Participant feedback

Feedback from Phill's past sessions. The best part was...

Phill always brings a level of detailed understanding to the topic that gives me high confidence that the guidance is valid, well backed in policy & expectations & can be used to steer my RTO forwards
I have attended other similar AI sessions, however this one provided so many more takeaways & supportive templates & covered the focus in a much more valuable "why" way for me
The best part was gaining an overview of the breadth of implementation requirements
Awareness of the multiple AI guidelines, frameworks, standards & implementation practices
Practical use of Notebook LM. Used it straight away & will continue to use & learn more
