RTO MANAGER SERIES 2027 | OPERATIONS | WORKSHOP 30 OF 30

Finish the year by evaluating the whole RTO & planning the next one

Close the annual management cycle by bringing evidence across the whole RTO together, evaluating organisational performance & planning the next year.

Monitoring, internal audit, validation, complaints, stakeholder evidence & management reviews only create value when management synthesises what they collectively say about the organisation. The management challenge is not simply to have a policy, form or procedure in place... It is to make ownership, decision rights, controls & evidence visible enough that managers can see whether the function is operating as intended & intervene when it starts to drift.

Looking across all of our evidence, what have we learned about the RTO this year & what needs to change next year?

Examine where responsibilities sit, what controls should operate, what information management should be able to see & which exceptions or indicators should trigger review, escalation or corrective action.
