RTO MANAGER SERIES 2027 | GOVERNANCE | WORKSHOP 6 OF 30

Put the quality plan to work & make improvement visible

Operate the planned quality system, use monitoring & evaluation evidence & turn findings into sustained improvement.

A good quality plan has no value unless monitoring occurs, internal audits & reviews produce usable evidence & improvement actions are followed through to effectiveness. The management challenge is not simply to have a policy, form or procedure in place... It is to make ownership, decision rights, controls & evidence visible enough that managers can see whether the function is operating as intended & intervene when it starts to drift.

What is the evidence telling us, what action should we take & did the action work?

Examine where responsibilities sit, what controls should operate, what information management should be able to see & which exceptions or indicators should trigger review, escalation or corrective action.
