RTO MANAGER SERIES 2027 | PEOPLE | WORKSHOP 15 OF 30

Protect decision integrity when relationships or sensitive disclosures complicate management

Manage interests, relationships & sensitive disclosures so decision integrity & safe reporting pathways remain visible.

Conflicts are not automatically wrongdoing, but unmanaged conflicts can undermine decisions. Sensitive disclosures require confidentiality, independence & protection. The management challenge is not simply to have a policy, form or procedure in place... It is to make ownership, decision rights, controls & evidence visible enough that managers can see whether the function is operating as intended & intervene when it starts to drift.

What interests could affect a decision & how can serious concerns bypass conflicted or unsafe reporting lines?

Examine where responsibilities sit, what controls should operate, what information management should be able to see & which exceptions or indicators should trigger review, escalation or corrective action.
