RTO MANAGER SERIES 2027 | OPERATIONS | WORKSHOP 20 OF 30

Make sure the RTO can actually resource what it has designed

Ensure each approved training program has suitable, sufficient, accessible & available learning resources, facilities & equipment before & throughout delivery.

Programs can be sound on paper but fail when resources are outdated, equipment is insufficient, facilities are unsuitable or licences & external environments are assumed rather than checked. The management challenge is not simply to have a policy, form or procedure in place... It is to make ownership, decision rights, controls & evidence visible enough that managers can see whether the function is operating as intended & intervene when it starts to drift.

Do we have the right resources, facilities & equipment, in the right condition & quantity, available when learners need them?

Examine where responsibilities sit, what controls should operate, what information management should be able to see & which exceptions or indicators should trigger review, escalation or corrective action.

Participant feedback

Feedback from Phill's past sessions. The best part was...

The practical application of unpacking an actual ASK unit in to the document & all of the suggestions & hints
The demonstration of the process of unpacking the ASK unit using the template
Although it appeared messy & complex the outcome was a clear understanding of the unit requirements to design the learning resources & assessments. Thank you
I found it really beneficial to complete both Quality & Compliance WHS Audits I also think the quality of the templates provided is amazing!
Tips & hints for analysing, planning & mapping assessment tools
