Work placements are a robust approach for vocational students to undertake activities in a real workplace, developing and demonstrate the skills and knowledge students have been learning during their course.

Work placements can also support the collection of 'other party' evidence - a valuable strategy for collecting supplementary evidence of the participant’s ‘everyday performance’ rather than performance carried out as part of the formal assessment process.

The Work Placement Booklet resource template has been designed to assist RTOs in implementing robust work placement arrangements and includes the use of other parties while the work placement occurs for the evidence collection process.
