Quality Management System (QMS) Essentials - Compliance Coaching Program
Activity
Key components, offering a foundation for understanding & implementing QMS principles in alignment with regulatory expectations
This unit introduces the Quality Management System as the backbone of compliant, well-run RTO operations. You will explore what a QMS is and why it matters, the components that make one effective (policies, procedures, forms, registers and quality assurance mechanisms), and how to map your QMS to the Standards for RTOs 2025 to identify and close gaps. You will also cover implementation and maintenance: version control, document management, and keeping your system current and audit-ready.
By the end of this unit, you will understand how a well-designed QMS turns compliance from a reactive scramble into a systemic, everyday practice, and how the Continuous Improvement Register embeds a culture of quality across your RTO.
