Structuring Assessment with 'ASK' Units
Course
Building assessment approaches that meet the ASK standards
The shift to the ASK model brings a stronger emphasis on capturing how knowledge and skills are applied in real contexts. Assessors are expected to move beyond checking isolated tasks and instead gather evidence that shows genuine integration of application, knowledge and skills.
This practical session recorded in February 2026 guides you step by step through building assessment approaches that meet the ASK standards and reflect the realities of workplace performance. You’ll learn how to interpret unit requirements, plan assessment activities that make sense for learners and employers, and set up a foundation for compliant assessment tools.
Whether you’re updating existing assessment strategies or developing new ones, this session supports assessors, designers and RTO leaders who need clarity and direction under the revised framework.
