ASQA Regulatory Risk Priorities 2026–27... Where RTO & CRICOS Providers May Be at Risk
Assess Compliance | Assess Governance in Practice™
ASQA updated its Regulatory Risk Priorities on 22 July 2026, identifying areas of regulatory focus for 2026–27. This practical 90-minute session examines what these priorities mean for RTO and CRICOS providers through a compliance, risk and governance lens — helping you identify potential vulnerabilities, determine what should be reviewed now, and consider how your organisation monitors and gains assurance over regulatory risk.
Participants receive a Compliance & Governance Assurance Map for ASQA Regulatory Risk Priorities to support review within their organisation

Vanessa Lyon is a VET compliance and governance consultant with more than 10 years’ specialist experience supporting RTOs, CRICOS providers and Group Training Organisations across Australia, backed by prior experience across regulated industries, business operations and leadership.
Her VET career began within RTO operations before moving into national consultancy, where she led a team of compliance consultants and supported more than 50 education providers each year.
