Overview

As educators in the VET sector, dealing with adult learners is part of our everyday, but how often do we actually ‘see’ our students?

The focus of this session is to introduce andragogy, its assumptions as a process model, and the educator’s role in this type of approach.

It will talk about the differences between pedagogy and andragogy and introduce a level beyond both on the learning continuum. Throughout, various thinking points related to delivering learning in a changing world with changing needs, will be considered.

This webinar will examine ideas to maximise learning opportunities for adult learners, sharing tips and hints to operationalise adult learning in your RTO.
