How do we get our free organisation & trainer account(s)?

Please Register your organisation to get started - vetr will need a few details and your organisation's logo to get the account set up for you.
This is generally done within 24 hours of receiving an account setup request.

What does it cost to use vetr for our digital learning?

Organisation and trainer accounts are free!
You're able to get set up and running quickly - curating and creating courses without any upfront cost.

Once you wish to train students, each 'active' student account is levied at $4.40 inc GST per month.
An 'active student' is one who has actually not only logged in, but actively participated in either a course or a social networking group during the month.

There are no additional charges!
No excess usage charges - no bandwidth charges - no storage charges - unlimited course & file storage is included!

For organisations with more than 100 active students per month, volume pricing options are available - please Get in Contact with us for further information.

Can we sell courses we create?

Yes you are able to sell courses you create either via the vetr course catalogue (open and visible to the general public) or via your own website (take your own registrations & payments and then add students to your courses on vetr).

If you wish to sell courses you create to other organisations for their use, you can also do this by becoming a vetr resource reseller.

Can we export or use our courses on other platforms?

Yes you are able to export any courses you create for use in other LMS platforms.

The vetr environment allows for the exporting of courses in the international Common Cartridge Format (CCF) that can then be imported into any other international CCF compatible platform.

The environment also allows question based assessment tasks to be exported in the international Question Test Interoperability (QTI) format, also allowing the assessments to be imported into any other international QTI compatible platform.

Is the vetr digital environment SCORM compliant?

Yes the environment is SCORM compliant to SCORM 1.2 and Experience API (xAPI / Tin Can API) international standards.
You are able to upload and use any course content packages compliant to these international standards.

The digital environment also supports the international Learning Tools Interoperability (LTI) standard, allowing the streaming of any LTI compliant content from publishers or resource suppliers into courses being run.

Such as units of competency from known publishers?

vetr is in discussions with a number of education publishers about making their course resources available to the vetr community.
We expect that over time a range of pre-loaded courses will be available for use.

As vetr community members design their own courses & offer them for sale to other colleges, the number of available existing resources will also grow.

Is there any initial training in the use of the environment?

Yes there is a range of help resources and also 'Getting Started' videos and guides in how to use the environment.
