Conducting Training Product Reviews
Key processes when conducting training product reviews
The lifeblood of a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) is the delivery and assessment of training products to students. It is essential to 'get it right' and ensure the best outcomes for students, and in turn industry. How do we make sure what we are doing is the best we can? We seek feedback, review, and implement improvements. This process is called a Training Product Review and is not only essential for working towards RTO best practice, it is also a requirement of the Standards for RTOs 2015 to have a systematic approach to monitoring and evaluation of training and assessment strategies and practices, in other words - what you say you're going to do and what you're actually doing.
This webinar will explore the process of a training product review including:
- Why do we need to conduct a training product review?
- Where does it fit in with the requirements of the Standards for RTOs 2015?
- What do we need to do to prepare?
- What are we looking for and how do we know what is 'good'?
- What happens afterwards?
